Mylène obtained an Honours Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Ottawa in 2016 and a Diploma in Dietetic Techniques in 2011. Additionally, she is completing a master's degree in education to health professionals. Mylène has long been passionate about cooking, nutrition and healthy lifestyles. She has worked in various settings (hospitals, CLSC, CHSLD, college, university) which has allowed her to develop her approach based on the needs of her clients. She currently works in perinatal care with families in vulnerable situations and in a family medicine clinic. Mylène is also collaborating on various research projects on simulation-based learning at the university.
Her approach has developed by working with different clients and adopting a positive long-term vision for her clients. Her goal is to help her clients free themselves from preconceived ideas about weight and body image and achieve a balance of physical and mental health as well as well-being in their bodies.
